On The Porch is an acoustic duo out of Oswego County performing originals as well as Folk and American covers         
Meg Bolton, a singer-songwriter from Mexico NY, also performs with the infamous "Biscuit Hooker Band." Playing guitar, harp, and occasional banjo, her style is reminiscent of a collaboration between the sweetness of Emmylou Harris and the soulfulness of Bonnie Raitt.
 
Jim Shaffer has been in the local music scene for over 20 years. His years of playing guitar for the classic rock band "Bad Habit" of Sandy Creek have served him well as he utilizes his rhythmic guitar style to back up the group's vocal harmonies on their originals songs as well as covers of their favorite artists.

On the Porch continue to hone their act at various Oswego county venues and recently performed at The Homer Center for the Arts Fall Festival
Their influences include folk, country, and rock, and their SET LIST includes numerous originals as well as and songs by Dylan, Springsteen, John Prine,  The Band, Neil Young, and various other artists.
